Punter friendly pubs in Edinburgh?

Looking for pubs in Edinburgh that have the following
1. A bookie very nearby
2. A decent telly
3. Don't mind showing the horse-racing on a Saturday afternoon
Any suggestions appreciated.

Think there's one (hundred 
) along the west end of Rose Street. Bookies directly across the road and anytime I walk by it's got punters watching horses racing round a track.
However it won't be friendly as it is Edinburgh (the almost as anti-social as London capital of Britain)
Cannot remember it's name but start at the west end of Rose Street and you'll find one somewhere

I dont think its unsociable !! depending on where in edinburgh you are in there are loads of pubs and bookies . where are you based ? edinburgh is very freindly to tourists especially the city centre

I think you have missed the point.
I stay in Linlithgow, but spend the odd Saturday with one of my punting mates (there's not many in Scotland - more's the pity) in Edinburgh.
Generally we use the Haymarket Bar, but they seem averse to turning up the volume, and if there's a rugby or football game on, you can forget it.
Basically I'm looking for a pub that shows the racing, not a pub that is near a bookies that shows the racing, they're ten a penny.
