I'm going too. Leaving Starthclyde Park area just after 7am and heading over via Kincardine. Taking extra petrol cans with me as I went through a tank and two cans in 3 hours a few week ago.

Hope there is a good turnout. See you all there. Last chance for video this year so if you want on camera just move over to the right and I'll get you on my driver's side camera :-) Over the winter months will put together stuff from the video done at this year's Knockhill track days.

Sam is booked up to take part, but he might not be able to make it he says. I reckon he'll be there though

Looking dry for Saturday, and I'm expecting a few people to be running on slicks!

Dougster

No probs with pax laps in the smartie. Bit different to a Scooby though, you might need to get out and give me a push up the pit straight :-)

John
Dry weather? You been sacrificing children again, glad you didn't get Skye on IOM then.

Will be home from DK 8.30pm Friday night ? (Heli flights and fixed wings flights all being on time...) and my dear wife will have the car at Jim King's tomorrow to have the Falkland supplied DS2500 pads fitted, both front and rear. Slicks are booked and all I need now is 2 x 20 ltr gerry cans for additional fuel.

John S: Inverurie Auto body only have 10 ltr gerry cans in stock so if you can pick up the 20 ltr ones we discussed, I'll square you up on Saturday. That way we can both have plenty of fun in the slick shod Sti7 with fresh pads. Who else will be at the Esso garage on Sat Morn? Young Keith, Toby, etc???

Jools,

I was really looking forward to this last trackday but the brakes are so bad now that I'm going to have to stop driving the car till they are sorted The suspension also seems to have given up again too so I'll be putting the car off the road for a while
I'm still planning on going to Knockhill only it will be in the Peugeot if it makes it there, so no track fun for me!!!

Alasdair,

How about the Pug makes it to Inverurie from Huntley and us heading down in the Sti. Looks like John S will come with me and we'll be meeting a few others at the normal Esso garage first thing I'm sure anyway. 6.15am I think. (Long as I get home OK, but that should be no probs)

Don't forget Paul's P1 on the drive...and the Westy is tucked up in the garage! Fancy a open top drive to KN??? Maybe I should ask Arlene to get it down to Jim Kings as well and get it serviced and set up on the rolling road just in case? Imagine the fun we could have if it's dry!

That sounds good I'm sure the Pug should make it to Inverurie. My mobile phones not working at the moment either so I'll try and see if I can catch up with you when you get home on friday night.

Pity you didn't make it to IOM but have some photos which I will bring along on Saturday.

Crush

Photos, yes please. You can have some pax laps in return, but don't get as comfortable as you did in it at Kames :-)

never really used any excuses

but it is not a big turbo, it is just a turbo from an evo 6 which has got a bigger exhuast housing with a roller bearing conversion done to it.

my original turbo had a really small exhuast housing. i was actually loosing power the more boost it ran over 1.5

Got the new DS2500 fitted to the Sti today and had the brake fluid changed out to dot 5. Anyone know what was in the car from new?
Just when Arlene thought she had done enough, regarding helping me get ready for KN, I passed on that the Westfield is booked into West High Street Garage for a service tomorrow ready for the track. If it is dry I'm planning taking the Westfield and the Sti, but my dear lady don't want to drive yellow mellow down the street! So, calling Shaun, Keith or Chuck to help a damsel in distress if you can...
John, would your insurance cover you to take my Sti down if I do take the little car as well?

Looking forward to Sat and meeting Skyenet & co. Bad deal about not making the IOM, but ready for KN.

Jools
