Balloch is an ideal point for a meetas you have Loch Lomond Shores or even a large car park next to the supermarket in the centre. If coming from the east via Stirling, head along the Carse Road then following signs for Erskine Bridge will bring you to Balloch.
A run up Loch Lomond to Luss, Tarbert, then back via Helensburgh could be optional.
How does 2p.m. in Balloch sound?

Stirling to Callander then Crianlarich down to Tarbert then Balloch to Drymen back to Stirling ?? This works out around 120 miles.
Perth lads head to Crieff, Comrie then meet at Lochearnhead with Stirling starters then we rendevous with the Glasgow guys somewhere around Luss/Duck Bay ??
How does that sound ?

CAZ: I don't know about others but that run might be a wee bit on the long side If wee meet up with the guys from glasgow after a 30/40 mile run it might be a little better.

Dougster, If we leave Stirling and head towards Balloch, we'd be better going the nice country way via Drymen.
Craig - I agree that maybe a bit long, but thats a normal run on my bike, just thought with it being a twisty open road it would be a challenge for an Impreza. Well I'm happy with a meet at Stirling then head to Loch Lomond. Say 12noon or 1pm at Stirling for an arrival in Balloch around 2pm.

Craig - What time are the Perth squad meeting at? What route do you intend to use? If you go via Stirling then we can all meet at Granada services then travel across to Balloch.
Dougster - Where is this large car park in Balloch? Whats the plan of attack once we all converge on Balloch?

I haven't heard anything from the other thread about people meeting in perth as yet. Like the last time the rush of people at the start then the tumble weeds roll in
I'll keep an eye out but it looks like I might just go from Dunfermline through to Stirling and meet up there !
Craig.

The car park is at far end of Balloch if you are coming in from the Drymen end.
Don't know what will happen once all there as most will have had a decent run out anyway.
See you all there.

Hey Dougster, where's this place we're meeting in Balloch. I can just recall what the road looks like, into Balloch from Stirling, over the marina bridge, a big roundabout, a small dual carrigeway then another roundabout. IIRC theres a small Fire Stn there next to a Rover garage. Then big roundabout, left to Erskine Br, right to Helensburgh. Does that sound correct. If so where is the car park.
