Just to remind you all that we have a track event arranged at Knockhill tonight from 6pm to 8pm, with signing on at 5pm.

The event is currently undersubscribed, with only 25 cars signed up to take part (nice and empty track!). The SIDC will be making a loss on this event, unless we can get a few more cars along. This obviously doesn’t bode well for future events (e.g. 28th September this year, or next year), and may mean we’ll have to reduce the number of track events we do in the future.

The lack of Imprezas on track is particularly disappointing, so I’m hoping this e-mail will perhaps persuade a few more out tonight to help make up the numbers. The cost will be a mere £35/£40 for two hours open pit lane fun.

We are also planning a BBQ afterwards at Knockhill, to which everyone is welcome. The cost will be about £10 per head for an eat all you can affair.

If you are interested, please let me know by 2:30pm today (after that I’ll be getting ready to head down to road to Knockhill from Aberdeen), or you can just turn up at 5pm and we’ll get you signed on.
