Does anyone know of a web site or something that will give you the market values for the various styles and specs of importes Subaru impreza`s. This is because I`ve had a variety of prices for imported scoobys and I`ve got no idea if I`m being ripped off or not.
Or if there isn`t any web sites that could help, dooes anyone know how much I should be expecting to pay for a imported Impreza MY97 WRX STI –3 Type R and a MY98 STI-4 both with under 40,000 miles on the clock and in good condition throughout?

I don't think there is a website or book that will give accurate figures for imported cars.

It's a bit of a buyers market at the moment, and so sticker prices can usually be haggled down a little bit.

For a 96/97 STi 3 Type-R, I would expect somewhere around £9k - £12k, depending a lot on general condition, service history, etc.

For a 98 Type R, I would guess that around £11k - £13k, again depending on miles and condition would seem about right.

These would be for private purchases, and dealers might add on an extra £1k or so to the sticker price, throw in warranty, road tax, year's MOT etc.

I'd agree with John.
I've got a Dec 98 (v5) sti type R, and I'd be hoping for around 14k for it. It's 30k miles.
