Default Losing my "tuning wings"

Having been a Scoobynet member for the last couple of weeks and spoken to a lot of decent lads I think I have come to a conclusion on what my first mods on my 07 STI are to be.I'm hoping to get a prodrive sports cat,air filter and remapped.I know these mods wont be that great (nor get the EVO magazine exited) but I only wanted to spend £1,000 max.

She's currently standard and done 49k miles. I intend to do some exterior mod's later in the year but, for now, does the above (small) mods all seem OK and make sense remembering at the minute shes a standard STI.

Looks like a good start.

Of course, you realise you should have bought a WRX...?

They are perfect mods to start off mate, I reckon you could even stretch to fitting a better Anti roll bar on the rear if you go for a open source remap

If you can find cheap parts you might be able to get some extra bits done with your budget.

£1k is just a rough figure,I'd happily spend more if anyone has some other, slightly more expensive ideas? What benefits and cost is the anti roll bar?I've never heard anything about them?Is the £500* remap price a one off and from then onwards its just a small charge to have it tweaked after additional mods?

Thicker rear anti-roll bar dials out understeer. But keep the front standard, except for some solid droplinks.

Hi Mustoe,MRjelly advised a Walbro fuel pump but my local garage has said "it's not worth upgrading as the STI one is sound"?
Do the majority of you guys do the modifications yourselves?I can imagine the labour bill for a lot of this stuff is as costly as much as the parts themselves!?!
