Up to version 6, the only STI cars were JDM.

The Bugeye STI7 was the first Uk available car.

With cars being modded by previous owners , you cannot rely on the normal things like Uk orange indicators, or lack of a factory rear integral foglight, so the easiest tell is the one that is beyond most peoples ability to change.

All JDM cars left the factory with the indicator on the right of the steering wheel.

If it still has that, then it's 95% likely to be a JDM car and not a UK car wearing JDM bits.

You could type quicker if you used less letters

Buying blind without research is not a good idea really.
Does it have a service history?
Modded? Run on V Power or Tesco 99 RON fuel?
Have you told the insurance it's JDM?

There are two schools of thought on JDM cars but I would not buy a UK car again.

not to mention you will need a remap if you fit a decat pipe otherwise it will overboost and kill it.

Not all Jdm sti's have rear wipers .Make sure its been run on V-power/Tesco 99 .I emailed a mapper in the past well it was optimax back then AFP he recommended running a octane booster with the above fuel .Till you get it mapped for the likes of V-power/Tesco 99

You can see the Vf37 on the turbo wrote on with like a electric pencil
You need to explain to insurance companies that you have a Jdm

All twins scroll owners should read this:

https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...phase-2-a.html

Although, towards the end, you will see why I am a little biased.
