just taken my impreza wrx ppp on the dyno.
ok it only made 217bhp @16psi
and it was running very very rich!!!

he said the running rich would stop it making correct power.

So what could be causing runinng so rich under boost. he said it was perfect off boost.

he said car runs perfect apart from this issue

any ideas?? faulty Maf... or boost leak maybe ???

 

is the car standard ?

 

it was i standard wrx. but i have fitted the ppp package. and a de-cat up pipe

 

Did you have it mapped when you fitted to de-cat and PPP upgrades....what PPP upgrades have you done?

 

It has the ppp ecu fitted and cat back exhaust and panel filter, it still has original catted downpipe, I have just had the up-pipe decatted, as have read these can break and distroy turbo

 

Hi there

If you are running decatted Up pipe then due this you are running richer on boost,I would suggest add decatted downpipe and then get car mapped asap or drive off the boost until is car mapped

My WRX PPP only clocked 220bhp odd on the dyno. 187.3 at the wheels at AET. They said the fueling was ok though.

 

did you get the graphs from the dyno runs?

 

Yes I will try and upload later, im no expert but seems to run about 10.0 or lower, I here ppp does run rich but is this to rich? He said car run perfect off boost
