Its was on the car before i bought it. The car drives fine etc and has been mapped with all the current mods on, appreciate your sarcastic remark though.

Ah OK, was asking as I've recently done the resonator delete on my classic with a standard airbox, so if you were running a panel i'd say do this first as you get lots more nice noises! but as your on an induction kit then you'll be getting this anyway. As your mafless it makes no odds so stick a VTA on and see what you think, there's plenty about given that they're not overly popular.

My car came with a Blitz one which I sold on, was nice quality.

If you change it now with your current map, you may get running problems. And not forgetting devaluing your car.
Your choice, your car.

Get one with adjustable spring rate to avoid illegal pissshhtt at low revs around town, lift off det is the biggest killer of Scoob engines. VTA cures that!

Lift off det is the biggest killer of scoob engines? .......... Is this based on years of building engines and mapping or a few months of surfing forums and making stuff up?

To the op, im running a forge recirc as an atmospheric, spring kit makes it nice and tunable.

Obviously fitting a load of mods and not mapping or letting the oil run out are more efficient killers but you get the jist.

Sometimes when I'm drifting off to sleep and a bus goes past outside I often think it sounds like a TIE Fighter with a VTA.
