Thats the last think I wanted to hear!!! Been worrying all day lol.Would you guys say its a bad idea? Is there lots of horror stories of cars blowing up? or am I worrying to much.

Is it not the same as giving it a blast on road? Or is it more strain on engine

If it's a decent dyno setup then it's safer than on the road, they'll be able to read afr's etc. Doesn't mean it won't go pop though

Where are you taking it?

Just seen above. He uses a decent rolling road so everything should be fine.

Naturally you'll be running decent fuel, so make sure there's enough in the tank!
Coolant, oil and tyres, naturally.
Other than that, it's the same as just putting your foot down in fourth gear with the benefit of being monitored.

I put my 108k mile bug STi on the rollers before Christmas think it put down 420bhp. Always feel a bit nervous but having been to quite a few rolling road shoot outs at various establishments I have yet to see one go pop. As said fluids and decent fuel, are the main things. If it is your first time going a spare pair of boxers and trousers as you will feel like you will "S" yourself as it goes through the rev range.
