I went to look at the blue bugeye STi import that was up for £6995, the one with the vented bonnet.. listed as immaculate with no scuffs or dents.

paint work was far from smooth which said re spray to me, bonnet had a spot where the lacquer had come off..scuff on the front bumper, small dent on the drivers door. very noisy engine knock, sounded rough as.. pictures on the advert looked immaculate, car in person wasn't. other cars in the 'unit' were dusty.

this was my opinion.. you may have a better experience than me.

yeah, they haven't replied to me either, but I don't know whether that's because I am a foreign buyer or because they are plain lazy

• Tial Type Q blow off valve
• Oil catch can setup
• NGK PFR7B spark plugs
• ACT SB10-XTG6 and prolite flywheel with OEM release bearing (BRAND NEW Only covered 500 miles)
• Mocal 19 row oil cooler with thermostat plate (not fitted)
• Lateral Performance Baffled sump
• Alcatek ECU with anti lag and launch control (Lead, dongle and software supplied)

Interior modifications:

The engine oil/filter has been changed every 4000 miles. Transmission oils, coolant, spark plugs and fuel filter have been changed every 10000 miles. The cambelt/tensioner were changed 15000 miles ago. Original oil/fuel filters are used at every service and it’s always run on Silkolene Pro S/Fuchs Titan 10W-50 Ester synthetic oil and Motul Gear 300 75W-90 Racing gearbox and differential lubricant.

The bodywork is in good condition but it does suffer from a few stone chips and small dents that a daily driver would pick up on its travels. The front lip has a crack in it and the wheels could do with a refurb to make them spiffing. Also the rear spoiler and rear bumper have a couple of cracks in the paint and the front bumper could do with a respray which I plan to do at some point unless the buyer wishes to have this done themselves.

Mechanically the car wants for nothing, It has been mapped by Simon at http://www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk throughout the 6/7 years of my ownership. It currently has two switchable maps; MAP1 = V Power 1.6bar boost 420bhp & 380 lb ft torque, MAP2 = V Power & 16.6% methanol mix (10L methanol per tank) 1.8bar boost 464 bhp & 420 lb ft torque all measured at Surrey Rolling Road.

A brand new ACT ACT SB10-XTG6 and prolite flywheel with OEM release bearing were fitted a few weeks ago, they have only covered 500 miles and I am awaiting a delivery of a set of new Nankang Sportnex NS-2R 255/35/18 road legal track tyres.

The car comes with the registration H19 SUB, 5 months tax, 12 months MOT and a folder full of receipts for all of the parts.

That would be nice but unfortunately Austrian traffic safety regulations are much more severe than in the uk, so the car must not be (technically) modified or it will have to go through thorough examinations yada yada yada. They'd take away your reg plates of they catch you driving catless. Change the turbo and you have to have your exhaust gasses analyzed (comprehensively, not just the mot check, ie paying 1000-2000 gbp for the test) etc.
In short: modding a car can get REALLY expensive here
