I asked my local Subaru dealer (25 miles away) to post some parts out to me and they wouldn't even entertain the idea. 'Too much goes missing in the post.' was there response.

Funny, I work for a company that ships spares all over the world with very little issue.
I had to wait until I was near them. Popped in to collect the parts I had ordered/paid for and a few other items such as filters. 'Sorry sir, we are stock taking today and can't sell any other parts than the ones you have already paid for.'

I nearly threw the parts back at him!

When we do a stock take at work, it isn't hard to put a note in the tray saying '1 x oil filter sold to XYZ' and then invoice it off when you are back into the stock system.

Suffice to say, I will never use Subaru again.
