Default Sti 2.5L genuine clutch in 03 sti 2L

Will this fit? As understand that the 2.5 clutch will take more torque.

yes it will but they are the same clutch they make 2 different sizes thats all 230mm(5 speed) 240mm (6-speed) so if you want to handle more power get a pink box exedy 400bhp or ACT after that would be my advice

the 6spd STI cars all use the same fitment albeit there are minor variations in the exact specs

so yes 2.0 6spd will fit 2.5 6spd and vice-versa but not a massive advantage IMO

Thanks for replies - would the 2.5 clutch take a bit more power/torque though?

I've got one - it sure stinks if you slip it for three point turns and so on.
So not too sure how long I expect it to last.
Bit of an on off switch IMO, but you get the hang of it.
Got a fairly high bite point and have done 30K including nine track days.

TBF I am generally pretty easy on clutches.
Never launch and generally don't slip it when changing gears.
I have FFS and sometimes play with it on track, but you need to setup the clutch position switch relative to the bite point just so, or it will overheat and slip pretty easily
