I'd suggest looking them up carefully. That sounds suspiciously like the "Heathrow Gang" who are out and out crooks.
Whatever, it's far too cheap for a full engine, and likely to be pants.

Avoid them would be my opinion.

Research the engine builders on here, and one with a very good reputation has already just posted on here.

£1695? Is the labour free or summit?

I wouldn't say it is impossible for that amount of money as I had my old sti 3 rebuilt for around £1500, and it needed a new crank and 1 con rod. But I sold after 8 months and it is now off the road. So who knows.

If I had the time again, I'd use a good specialist.

Ask for a break down on what that price includes.

What a name, perhaps this is who they book their holiday with once they've fleeced you. Unless you can find glowing reports from a decent number of people that have used them I'd steer clear and stick to the known builders, who knows they may be OK, but far too much of an expensive risk if it goes Pete Tong.

Hello mate,

I just spoke with Alan at engine tuners in Plymouth about forging my 2010 STI saloon, very knowledgable and recommended to me from somebody else. Give them a call, you get what you pay for at the end of the day.

Looking at the website, it looks like you're gonna have a recon engine thrown in there which unfortunately could me another failure down the line. Pay once and get a good build fella..
