Default Picture Request :-)

Out of interest...

Has anyone got a photo of their motor with the Zunsport grills on with the Hella horns behind them?

Cant work out if the mesh is too tight for you to see through and see them...

Help would be appreciated!

TBH when I first fitted my red hella's I loved the look of them peeking out behind the grille, now I think they look kinda tacky, gonna spray them matt black to make them blend in now...

I also think any of the aftermarket grilles look pretty **** too, like a chicken coop, a debadged OE grille looks far better imo.

The problem is though is that the bottom doesn't have a grill as standard.... so to throw a grille on there and leave the top standard would look a mess IMHO!

If you think they look tacky why not remove them or relocate them so they are out of sight?

Personally I think they look well with a splitter, grills and the car sitting a little lower! (which are all on my to do list!)

certainly something a little different that sets the car apart from the rest! Maybe they look tacky as arnt sat behind the right grille? I want a tighter mesh where you can see them but they are fairly subtle. Just a thought as at the moment think mine are too on display!

Its a shame Zunsport dont do a grille that just replaces the existing one so you can just remove the old one from its fittings and replace with theirs rather than having it going around the badge etc.

I may actually relocate them out of sight.

As for grilles, personal preference, I prefer to keep it all looking as OE & subtle as possible.

Obviously the lower grille is functional, protecting the FMIC somewhat, still don't like the upper.

Also, I don't get the cat flap in the roof?

Don't like the lower but them again im not a fan of FMIC's either so that might be putting me off, but zunsport do one that sits slighty back and below the black bit.... Top one looks pretty nice IMHO

The 'cat flap' is VERY rare and only fitted to JDM Spec C's IIRC but can be bought from a website that for the life of me I cant remember the name of!

they do a smaller lower grill but it wont fit with an fmic as it clips behind a part that is removed where the fmic fits.

i dont like fmics either really but its a side effect of tuning these cars.

And if you're going to cut a hole in your non-spec c roof for a cat flap you may aswell cut a bigger hole and fit a sunroof

What was that running then mate?

Yeah I think if I was to go down the FMIC route I would have to be matt black, to try and hide it a little! But mind you if it had the words PERRIN wrote on it it may be a different story! LOL
