Andy,
Go with the Prodrive - I had mine 3 weeks now and I am well pleased!! The front just looks better especially if you change the orange lenses for white. And the fin is perfect for resting my laptop on !!! (only joking)
Decisions decisions !!!

Ive gone for the standard version, (Ltd) there are lots of extras for the car ask your local dealer, they have an STi extras brochure. Mines got frnt & rear strut braces, Sat nav, Leather, quickshift, cosmetic changes like clear indicators, gear **** changed, prodrive exhuaust etc etc.
Pesonally i like the std looking one as it isn't in yer face like the pro-drive version. It really is down to personal taste though.
Hope you get one, which ever you get it's the driving that counts far more than the looks.
Cheers Hawkeye

You wont regret the car. Had mine 2 weeks now, every day it gets better and only 300 miles till the 1K service !

That's what I wanted to do, however the delivery dates for the standard version meant i'd lose in depreciation on my old car more than the difference in waiting for the standard version over the prodrive one.
Now I would'nt have any other version than the prodrive one.
There was some rumour going around that only 800 prodrive versions were being made, but since mine has'nt a plaque on it with xxx/800 I doubt that's true.

If you definately want either Fogs or Driving lamps go for standard as the last time I checked the Prodrive barge boards for them are not vailable yet but check your dealer first
Other wise Prodrive version more abailable(mine has 1900 miles ) but you'll also need PPP though £1.5K-2K so you pays yer money etc.etc.

I went for the standard version with the Prodrive spoiler. Its in for the 10K service next week (1st Feb registered) and I'm debating whether or not to have the STI front lip fitted. Oh, these damn styling decisions....
Am I the only one doing relatively high mileages? Seems it takes some owners a few weeks to even get as far as the first 1K.

Few weeks to do 1000 miles. !!
My trip to work is 9 miles each way. Most weekends we use the wife's car, so with that in mind, it's gonna take me 4 months....
Better think of a good excuse to go on a long trip, err, Scotland?

According to Robinsons of Rochdale - standard STi in Silver is scheduled for production in June with expected delivery August/September - so not too long to wait if you get your order in NOW!!!

Chiark,
Its here at the dealers going to see it in the flesh tomorrow. I think it is an Sti Ltd looking at the specs of the Jap version. The dealer told it looks stunning and everyone's all over it wanting to drive it etc. He has given me the mileage and assured me it won't get driven except for pdi test. 9 miles on it at the moment. Boy I can't wait.
More tomorrow if you want.
