Default Nur Spec Exhaust

May sound like a stupid question but only had my Hawkeye for 2 months and new to the Subaru scene. I've seen a Nur Spec exhaust for sale but it has come off a classic, anyone know if it will fit Hawkeye?

From memory, it will fit, but the hangers need to be altered.

I had a Japspeed exhaust system... tried to change just the rear backbox section from a classic but was too long so had to cut and weld back on shorter... oh and the hangers dont fit...

And yes it is VERY loud, but I like it

I was contemplating replacing my ProDrive exhaust with a Nur spec S. After some research I bottled it. I really don't think my neighbours would appreciate it at 5am. I even bottled the Afterburner Vortex straight exhaust and opted for the Ninja 2 instead.

Ive just fitted one to my hawk, wouldnt say its stupid loud but it is loud. Inside the cabin its not too bad in my opinion the sound deadening deffinately helps. I was the same as you though between the nur spec and the afterburner and would say 100% go with the nur spec! Can always sell it if its not for you.

I have a classic Nur spec R fitted to mine Hawk and It will not fit straight on..

The hangers will need to be altered and it took a bit of fiddling around to make it fit perfect, cost about £100 to have it altered !

Yes it's loud but I don't think it's ridiculously loud because it's a deep sound, it's the pops and bangs that make it loud after a map..!

I think it seems quieter on your car mate because you have a 2.5lt engine and they are known for being quite a bit quieter than the 2.0lt. A friend of mine has 1 on his hawk and it just doesn't seem loud at all.

Your right Matt23

Friend of mine got one on his classic and it's a lot raspier sounding, on a Hawk it's a lot more of a deeper sound..

Had a NUR Spec S on mine for a few years and it's loud but no where near the volume of a NUR Spec R. Although I still have a sports CAT and the centre resonator fitted. Thought about changing it a few times for something a little quieter but can't bring myself to get rid of it.
