Baby seat none isofix
As above I will be needing a new baby seat for my daughter who is 8 months old, as the current seat will be redundant shortly. My dilemma is I have aftermarket Recaro(SR i think) seats in the front of my V5 Type R so they are quite narrow what seats are people using, I've no passenger airbag either. I was thinking of one of the recaro seats as they last till she is 4 years old but they look quite wide.
Cheers

great price at the mo.. very supportive and the kids are really secure.
we also have the Recaro Young Sport for the scoob now Edward is 2.5yrs old.. it will take him till he's 12

The recaro young sport we just bought from mothercare a few days ago, is from 20lb and adjusts untill they no longer need one (cat 1/2/3), our little one is six months old and its awesome, she's much happier in it it was £132 on offer and narrower than the britax evolve models ( we had two adults front and two adults rear plus car seat in the blob tonight, tight but ok.

My advice, having done some research, is to go for a rear facing one, because they are *MUCH* safer in a crash for a small child than a forward facing one.
We have a besafe rear facing seat of some kind, which is non isofix. You can fit them both in the front and the rear of the car (Ours is currently in the rear, but I'm thinking of moving it to the front (with disabled airbag)).

I have, and recommend the Maxi Cosi Axiss http://www.maxi-cosi.com/products/ca...ler/axiss.aspx
Doesn't use isofix to secure, and is a godsend on your back as the kids gets older.

OMG how big is your baby????
our's is 10months old and only at 18lb.. so not big enough for the Recaro Young Sport.
