Hi John,
In my honest opinion I really wouldn't bother with coilovers, I still feel 'cheap' coilovers are false economy, yes undoubtedly if you spend a couple of grand there are coilovers out there that would perform well on both the road and track, but you then need to have an awesome suspension set up elsewhere to get the most out of them.
For your needs you'd be better off with top quality adjustable shocks and good springs, or perhaps even a P1 set up as I've heard this is pretty good. Then turn your attention to the ARB's, droplinks, ALK, a geo set up by a respected tuner and good tyres.

Yea that doesn't sound bad, I have Eibach springs on mine (Pro kit) with stock dampers and I'm pretty happy with them, though apparently the Eibach 'P1' springs are the ones to have (Eibach made the original springs for the P1) but these are hard to find.
Whiteline stuff is a pretty safe bet ARB wise, though it's worth looking into these properly and thinking about your driving style before deciding as this will dictate whether you need to uprate both front and rear (many just change the rear) and also the thickness. Whiteline then also do droplinks and the Anti Lift Kit to finish it off. IMO though getting the car set up properly is just as important as all the above, so make sure you research on who you plan to use for geo.

Yea I've seen these before, but as far as I can see there a bit of an unknown quantity, I've only seen them on imported cars so I'm guessing there of Japanese origin. I'd probably steer clear tbh unless anyone else on here has used them and can offer some feedback. KYB's would be the safer bet
