Default How does hawkeye rear Defusser screw into blob eye?

Just brought a used rear Defusser from a hawkeye to install on my blob?

It came with 5 bolts. Does anyone know on the hawkeye does it screw into some nuts? I

I know that the holes for the rear are on the metal bracket behind the bumper and that 3 holes have to be drilled close the wheel well. Any thing else I am missing?

Regards

Only on widetrack bumpers as they have the holes.
Still a simple fit on narrow track ones.

It's for a non wide track and it's the oem subaru part.

The metal bracket behind the bumper already has the mounting holes. So I assume all that's needed is holes in the wheel well?

Tubby tommy what's the simple fit?

Get the Cusco brace, if it's still available, Gary. Saves you drilling into the spare wheel well. It mounts under the ARB brackets.

Then fix it to your rear bumper, if as mentioned above the bracket is already there. Mine being an early car, I had to wait well over a month for the bracket from Japan.

How's did you attach the other screws furthest from the bumper for the rear defusser?

did you need to drill holes?

From what I can see there are two holes closest to the rear bumper and one hole in the middle and two further back.

No holes drilled. The Cusco bar has captive nuts for the 2 bolts nearest to the diff.

Mine is an early classic, so needed a bracket from either Cusco, or Subaru - I forget which - to mount it to the bumper.

There isn't a bolt in the middle, it's just a recess.

Now I am even more confused. If there was no Cusco bar than how does the front of the defusser mount to the car? As the front bracket is only there if the Cusco bar is installed.

Anyone with a hawkeye can check for me? Or anyone with a blob that has done this?

Regards.
