Woah woah woah.... are you trying to imply there are other forums and marques with badly modified cars, who want too much money for them?

I thought that was a problem exclusive to Scoobynet and Subaru's?

I love the over-engineered range-topping Golfs. The MkIV R32 was the only example of that model that could claim to be a proper motor.

I don't agree that it is a badly modified car, it's been kitted out to a very high standard and would obliterate most of the sub-500bhp cars people on here own in a straight line. The only bad thing about that car IMHO is that it has been lowered too much.

£20k is unfortunately an unrealistic price because of the climate. I would challenge anyone to get hold of a MkIV R32 and make the same or better for less.

That's not the way the car market works, you don't take a 5k car, spend 15k on mods and expect to sell it for 20k, at least not to a sane buyer.

Why would you spend all that money making it go quick them slam it and ruin the handling?

Its not been lowered too much as its on air ride so can be adjusted to what ever height the owner likes at the touch of a button

But air ride wouldn't improve the handling like a good set of coilovers though?

Seems to work well in the vid.

There is one comparing an Evo on coilovers to an Impreza on Air

Put that mk4 golf R32 turbo stuff into a MK2 or MK1 golf Gti and then it would be worth £20k!!

That Golf's had a lot more than £15k thrown at it.

A mint low mileage MkIV golf r32 is worth a lot more than £5k, otherwise I'm trading mine in and putting £6k in my pocket.

Yeah, anyone wanting to build a car to that spec would be far better off buying that car. It bet it goes like ****. I personally think it's worth £15-17k.
