Stops the rear sub frame from moving about as much under cornering, a well liked mod for the Foresters, don't hear of many Impreza owners doing it though.

And introduces a load of NVH into the cabin.

It can be, it all depends on what suspension setup you already have as well.

It will certainly improve the handling of the car but if you have an uprated rear anti roll bar then I would think about possibly softening the setting on it, with the back end too stiff your car might have a tendency to 'skip' around corners.

If you are going to go for the subframe lockdown kit then I would recommend the Perrin one as it also contains everything required, I believe that the Whiteline kit doesn't contain everything needed in the one kit.

If my memory serves me correctly (as it's quite a few years since I had the work carried out) there are two Whiteline kits (one contains the bushes and the other kit contains the bolts etc) required to carry out the work, the Perrin kit contains everything required and works out cheaper.

the Whiteline "lock kit" is simply 2x machined bolts and doesn't really require anything else unless its a very arduous used track car IMO

it simply locates the s/frame laterally but still allows it to flex towards the body so doesn't induce NVH IME

carry in stock
