You do realise that price does not include the waste gate?

Yu will be looking at the same price again for a tial, and then you need a new turbo with external wastegate...

Expensive business.

Imo, that looks like a cheap ebay uppipe that has been modified.

So imo, get a local company to mod your existing one.

It is an exhaust wastegate that vents before the turbo.
It basically makes even more "turbo noises" than just using an external dump valve.
I suppose it is good for people who feel the need to draw attention to themselves

An external wastegate is a device fitted as said before the turbo on the exhaust.
They give far better boost control over an internally gated turbo.

The term screamer pipe is used to descirbe the exhaust vent from the wastegate, as when on boost they make hell of a noise. Some vent the screamer back into the main system. On my old car it exited just behind the n/s/f wheel as the bodyshop forgot to paint the jacking eye cover....

I suggest you use the powers of google and youtube for more info.

You need externally gated turbo
External gate
Modified exhaust
Lots of cash

Here you can just about see the gate behind the turbo

Bit clearer

Screamer pipe

I miss that car lol

Yea this is just the uppipe that the external wastegate attaches too, which you need to buy separate. Grimspeed & cobb are about £200-300 for there's. I have seen some on ebay for cheap like £60 but dont know if they are any good or whether they'll fit this pipe. Would be nice to know how you get on i wouldnt mind ewg and screamer pipe myself.

You can buy a bracket that locks your wastegate in place on existing turbo (think grimmspeed & cobb sell them) or make your own or weld it

Did your tuner have trouble because of screamer pipe? I know your talking about ewg but I read somewhere about internal wastegate turbos that companies have stopped supplying screamer pipes because it makes it hard to map car.pretty sure these were just a downpipe with a screamer pipe integrated on the internal wastegate side of bell mouth of downpipe with a divorce plate on inside of bell mouth separating exhaust gases and wastegate gases.

Hi there

This will not fit UK/JDM cars, this is for USDM models and USDM models have steering wheel on different side and this will not fit without the modifications

About the running external wastegate on OE gated turbo not sure, you will need convert yours existing turbo to external wastegate etc and this can be costly

Really depends there,if its worth, not sure,if you will love it,yes for sure,we are running and we are love screamer, but after few days/moths you will hate screamer

Miltek do a down pipe with divorced waste gate, the "screemer" rejoins at the bottom bend, I have one, any half decent welder should be able to modify it, not sure what results you'd get from it but i'd imagine it will make a hell of a racket.

Jura
why not plumb the screamer back into the main exhaust system then?
will just sound normal then lol

there is nothign special about that uppipe, if you get a tial then you can buy the flange that will need welding on to the downpipe, and then the vent routing how you want it.

fyi the above system was a hayward and scott. £605 for turbo back 3" system with one single rear silencer, screamer pipe and the turbo hangar.
