Default 4pot caliper upgrade

im looking at upgrading my 2pot standard front calipers to 4pots and wanted to know are they a straight bolt on replacement or do i need to do anything so they fit?

On the front they are direct replacements. Just ensure you have enough brake fluid for the job and bleed the brakes correctly when done.

Also because you are moving to 4 pots you need to make sure your wheels clear them. Most wheels 16" and over will, just worth checking

ok good cheers yeah got 17" rota subzero's and checked on the net and people say they clear 4pots and yeah will get right discs and pads to suit to.

Grab some copper slip and you are good to go

will do, yeah last time i did the pads and discs didnt put any copper grease and they squeak like a bitch.

I have my original front brakes off my 06 WRX for sale if you want them. I believe they are 4 pots hopefully someone can confirm this though

yeah im pretty sure they are 4pots, but ive already got some mate cheers anyway...

Yes they are. The 06 ones are slightly nicer as well as they come pre painted.

don't all newer subaru's come with 4pots front & 2pots rear as standard?

Check on the disc sizes of the older early Classic models, they where only 277mm not 294mm. That's a lot of missing brake area you could do with.

yeah the 4pot capilers i bought come with the correct size discs & pads
