few engine issues
Cars a 94wrx wagon
First issue is I only have a spark on 3 cylinders/coilpacks
Checked the coil pack and that is working fine. Checked all the inlet side of the loom and im getting an earth and a signal to the pinout.
Other problem is fuel is not getting through removed fuel inlet hose and primed it a few times but nothing... Can hear the pump but it sounds really loud.

The fuel problem - Did you disconnect the fuel hose before or after the fuel filter?

Is the rubber sleeve all in tact? You may be getting spark from the coil but If the sleeve that sits over the plug is fooked then it may be sparking before it reaches the plug on the sidewalls which will cause a misfire.
Are you getting any fuel through the lines at all? If not take the feed pipe off the top of the pump, put another short bit of pipe on to the pump and drop it in to the tank and see if you get any fuel out of the pipe, if not there is your answer, pump may be making a loud whining noise where it's struggling to pick up the fuel and feed it through under pressure.

Tried the coil out of the head and earthed it on the manifold no spark, and the rubber sleve is in good condition. That was my next line of attack was to just check off the feed from tank :-)

Did you have a plug in it when you tried? I normally use a old thin screw driver and earth it on the -ve of the battery to make sure you know it's 100% not producing a spark, may seem a bit of a bodge to others but its never failed

Yeah had a brand new plug in it I checked all 4 with the same plug and three fired and one nothing.
On another note pump was knackered replaced got fuel now. Tried cranking and nothing not even firing on 3 cylinders!! Could it be a timing issue?

Was the car running fine before it went off the road? If so I doubt it would be a timing issue on the belt, but stranger things have happened I suppose, but I would imagine it to still fire, albeit at the wrong time, definitely no damage to the loom and all earths are clean and free from any buildup of crap? Have you checked the timing marks out of curiosity to make sure all lines up?
There was someone else posting a similar question the other week except his would only spark on one cylinder iirc.
Is it a case of the car was simply taken off the road or was it taken off the road for a purpose I.E to have work done to it, has it been played about with in the time it's been sat there? If so what was done

It was off the road and left in a garage for 3 years. Then I purchased it. It had a bent rod so I've replaced the bottom end myself. Im not a first timer as I have done hg and timing etc on my past and current impreza's
I've had the loom off and tested it seems fine. Maybe I have the firing order wrong? I've checked timing and looks good.
