Default Are all 05 blob eye stis widetrack cars???

Hi guys just wondering if all the my05 stis are widetrack cars off what I've been reading as I really like the sound of these cars I'm probably never going to get the full benefit out of a widetrack but it would be nice to have the best of the bunch if possible.

Thanks in advance.

I think they are. The way to tell is if the rear wheel arches have a skirt on them. That's the giveaway.

I believe so. They upgraded to widetrack with the cars made from mid - late 2004 for the Japanese market (so my September 2004 54 reg Blob Type 20 has it), and the UK got them officially from 05 reg.

No doubt someone will be along to confirm it shortly.

I dont think they are all widetracks, but to be honest I found the dccd only comes into use when launching, other than that it makes lots of noises when turning, which just makes me set it to auto or open.

Might be a different story on track or for someone that is a better driver than me.

The DCCD is just a most toy, even on track I never touch it

The upgraded interior (dash) though, is much nicer IMO.

Clue is in the (adopted) name, the front and rear have a wider track than MY04 cars and this apparently (never driven 04 car) leads to more stability and ultimately faster lap times.

Seems 05 cars are getting a cult following these days - I chose well

DCCD works very well on track when you push hard in the wet Set it 2 clicks forward from full back and push.
I guess this will also depend on your suspension geo, setup, tyres etc etc, but it works for me.

As Tommy says above, there are a few 04 plate widetracks (MY05 model year) aswell as handful of 06 plated ones.
