Default Car been keyed!

I'm sure others have come back to their pride and joy, to find the same outcome that I've just suffered. It was parked in a private staff car park, but the public could walk past the cars.

I only washed it yesterday, so as a WR Blue it really was standing out. They did two doors. I feel so gutted, that I don't even feel like driving it. I'll have to get it sorted asap, as I have a car OCD and just can't drive it in this condition.

I know its stupid, but I've always been this pedantic about my cars. Why are people so hateful. I actually feel sorry for them for being so pathetic and worthless, without any morale fibre in their bodies. Obviously this will make a small dent in my finances, but at least I can afford to repair it, so life will go on. Just made me wonder, what's the point of driving such cars.

I'm like you, totally sucks the enjoyment out of the car.

Had my missus kurb two of my wheels a week or two back - wheels went in for refurb within hours of the incident I can't stay angry at my missus but I imagine your **** is boiling

My bonnet got done parked in a cul de sac carpark 3 9 inch gashs in front of my big scoop, was very annoyed couldn't afford to get it painted at the time so got a pot of touch up and covered it that way, 3 month later it's still there and it's still on the lost of things to be sorted

Thanks for the sentiments fellas. I only wish I could catch someone doing this and I wouldn't care who's car it was, I'd still deal with the criminals!

Sorry to hear this; no cctv? Know how you feel as I reversed into a bench at rugby yesterday and destroyed the rear bumper, which was only replaced 2 months ago when someone reversed into it, guess where, the frigging rugby club ! Only got myself to be angry with, though

I feel your pain, had my Imprezas stolen, keyed, just recently someone smashed my classics sidelight and headlight then drove away!

shame we can't enjoy them, I dread to think how you'd be treated if you drove a Supercar!

I've got cctv installed inside my car, 180 degree cameras both ways.

Anyone who pulls that stunt on mine will be hunted down by the law, or me, or both.

I bet your gutted. I would be. I wont to know what goes through there heads. When I see a nice car I want to stand and look at it not damage it. I bet they have never owned anything that they are proud of in there lives.

Sorry to hear that mate. Mine got done last year too. Both passenger doors and rear quarter. Really deep as well
I did the same as the lad above and got a touch up paint pot but it still looks awful. As angry as I am about it, it is just a piece of metal at the end of the day. Try and not let it get to you mate, there are more important things in life !

It's an inefficient system as I couldn't find one with good resolution and camera quality when I bought it, but I use two contour HD cameras, one is mounted behind the driver A Pillar and the other behind the glass on the rear.

Feeling better now as car's booked in for Thursday. Not feeling so good about the £350 dent in my finances however. That's for 3 panels to be painted as the front wing will have to be blended in.

For some time now, I've just learnt to make a mental allowance for this kind of thing happening . Sad, but I expect it every now and then in this nasty world we now live in!

I've always said it's worth having a credit card spare when you own one of these cars, be it for a forged rebuild or a flat tyre.

But I echo the comments of others above, there should be a very heavy penalty for snide crimes such as this.

In Fleetwood some **** scratched the bonnet of my Spec D I was so angry but also very upset.

Bodyshop did a fabulous job on the car. Just want to query though, which way the door decals are supposed to be.

They put the passenger side with the pink STI badge after the longer lettering. Opposite to the driver side where the pink badge is first.

I feel for you OP, that is not on at all. People are such scum nowadays.

I woke up this morning for my trip to the local B&Q to find that during the night somebody had given me another "hit-and-run" present. Had the first one happen not even two weeks back and now another, but this time there were no eye-witnesses. Must be somebody living in the road. I can go around looking for the car, but not today as I've got my boy's 2nd birthday party. I was fuming this morning.

Sorry to hear of your woes Bushy. It really is such a pain to drive carefree anymore. We can't understand why other drivers are so wreckless and disrespectful to fellow road users.
