Been on the rollers
Well what a day!
Up bright and early to pick up the car from cams performance. Drive off to the shell station and noticed smoke coming from the vent, now I thorght the car had been inside all the time it was there, I didn't realise that it had been outside so I felt a propper wally going back to cams in a flap only to be told it was steam off the hedders.
Got to TEG an hour late, got the car straght in on the dyno and Andrew set about wiring in the fuel flex sensor. Car strapped and ready to go, but the dyno wouldn't fire up, just loads of bleeping from the computer thing. It's about 2pm and the car still hasn't spun a wheel. Dyno sorted and Andrew Carr set about sorting the v power maps, I have one on actuator pressure and it hit something like 480 or there abouts. After a few runs it becomes apparent that the car is having issues with water temp, so we let it cool before high boost v power 548bhp. I was happy but thorght it was a lot of power to hot the numbers with a 20% meth mix. Anyway I bottled it and couldn't watch anymore and left them to it, Andre to the car to its limits with all the jiggery pokery and the backed it off a bit as I asked him.
This is what I got
I'm a happy boy !
Big thanks to all at teg, Andrew, and Brian at cams
