There are both LM400 and LM420 twin entry turbochargers for sale at present in the for sale parts forum, the LM400 used to be mine.
It was a great unit and sacrificed very little in terms of spool but kept pulling hard almost all the way to the red line, it made my Spec C a great road car.
In fact I would say that going for a larger BHP turbocharger beyond the LM400 actually ruined the car, more power doesn't make for a better road car in fact it can ruin the car. As a comparison I would say that the LM400 made the car quicker than the SC50 which replaced the LM400.

What about throttle response? Transient throttle response....which is what i believe the technical term is when describing the response from the moment you give it some.

How much power did you make with the LM400 Ty? You mentioned it sacrificed very little in terms of spool. Is this something noticeable when driving or purely on the dyno?

In terms of throttle response if there was a difference then it was so neglible as not to be noticeable in terms of the LM400 vs VF36, it really was for me the best of all worlds. You still had the instant spool and it pulled harder and for longer, mine had the latest billet shaft/wheel at the time plus the bronze bearing carrier as well.

SC42.....thats what I have works a treat. 405BHP torque isn't the greatest 380ltb.
From looking at Shauns thread it's not worth going for an LM400 better of with an LM460 and front mount.
