Thumbs down

On my travels up and down the M5 last week I spotted the usual Dark Blue Volvo T5 estate with the tell tale signs-3 ariels on the roof, two officers etc and when they overtook me I could see the camera mounted on the rearview mirror.

However just after coming off Junct 21 Weston-super-Mare, I spotted a car pulled in by a dark green Omega saloon with NO ariels on the roof whatsoever! The only unusual bit about the Omega was the two plain covered lights on the rear panel either side of the number plate which I presume are the red & blue jobs.
It did contain two gentlemen though.

I thought it was an eye opener so beware.

I can remember them patrolling unmarked Austin 1100's near Elstree. I drove a Ford Consul at the time and was once stopped for doing 50 in a 30. Bobby gave me a jolly good talking to and told me to get on my way and mind how I go. Ahhhh happy days....Blutes

Ex Missus says I used to drive her around the bend. But that was unavoidable because of the sharp left hander at the end of our road.....Blutes

I've been passed in Aylesbury by a siren toting Rover 75...the blue lights were behind the grill and...this was the devious bit...at the rear they were in the high level third brake light! Dual colour LED's...very discrete...too discrete IMO
