The experts will be here soon hopefully, but I would steer well clear of that.

A JDM hawk with that mileage for that price?

Something isn't quite right and I'm not just talking about the roof scoop!

Dodgy roof scoop aside, the pictures appear to be a JDM car.

Just something not right about the advert. Could be a clean car with a clueless owner/seller though, but I'd advise a lot of caution.

Yep, it's an import - from N. Ireland.

Isn't this the same car that a very recent thread was about (iirc TT sussed it was an NI plate) ?

"17k genuine miles" - in this country perhaps.
"Spare wheel" - just like most cars then.
"Tax due September £250" - wrong, it's £280

A no-no imo.

It could be a bargain but you need to find out a few things first.

Tax, sounds about right at 250, it will be the lowest tax bracket but you need to find out who imported the car and when it was imported into the country (ie from new/nearly new or recently).
It has some writing on the air intake, what does it say (could be cambelt replacement?).
Who services the car?
What fuel is the car run on?
Has the car been remapped?
Is that a full exhaust or just a back box?

And if you are tempted, get it checked over by a specialist for any accident damage or other faults, if they avoid this then avoid the car.

Tony

Hi

I think I might know the previous owner, but I'm not totally sure.

Anyway, get yourself onto scoobyireland, and someone on there will most likely know the car.

Yep - same car, thread last week based on the Autotrader ad:

https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...to-trader.html

That should help as well.
