Decent classic for sub £3k?
Civic has gone so on the hunt for a new car. Initial plan is to get a clio track car but the questionabove is bugging me. So for a nice classic with sensible miles and no rust etc is 3k being optimistic? It would be for a uk one. Thanks

3000 for a late classic is a good budget, the later 99/00 uk2000 aren't a bad car (value for money wise) I own one . Most uk classic are £1500-£2500 at the moment from what I have seen. Anything below is just not worth looking at unless your looking for a project. There are a few about if you look in the right places, what are you plans for the car? Would you use it for track or would it be a daily driver? The jdm cars have a few more extras over the uk cars,

It would mostly be for raod with the odd trackday thrown in. The sti would be my choice but insurance would be a fair bit more. Ive had three impreza's before and all have been pretty immaculate, albeit a few years back. Ive had a nose round and some are just awful (in the pics/description). I dont want to buy a pita to be honest.

I have a feeling it will be a waiting game. Its only a thought anyway. Such a shame what some people have done to the cars. I was mad over these years ago, how times change

I'm looking at Selling mine. It's a UK classic turbo, 80k, fsh, deep mica blue, 270ish bhp, EcuTek remap & licence, sti newage wheels in gloss black, sti brembo newage brake set up front & rear conversion, eibach's etc. All for 3k! No rust either! Arches welded so no mither!
