I was at S4Y today and chatting to a guy having some work done there. During the conversation it came up he'd not long discovered Len @ S4Y and how happy he has been with his work.

It got me wondering how many others don't know about this place???

Len has just built me a new 2.1 engine for my track car and I was there today running the engine in on his in-house rolling road (my cars not road legal, track only).

The engine has been fully rebuilt by Len himself and due to time constraints he has been putting in extra hours after work and at weekends to make sure it was finished and running for when it needed to be. (Being a track car there are only so many events per year so set dates/times when they NEED to be ready are pretty rigid)

Nothing has been too much trouble. The quality of work has been first class. The friendly manner in which he treats his customers is highly refreshing in this day and age. And I have no doubt the after sales care will be just as faultless.

They (Subaru4You) can do anything from general services to full on custom builds. Just thought I would let you guys know that for all of your needs, I honestly can't speak highly enough of the service I've recieved from Len @ S4Y and would recommend him/them to be on your list of places to call should you need any work doing.

had a forged build and all my car serviced and maintained by them also, absolute top notch guys are rick, len and mark, no nonsense and always a true word spoken by them, will use them again in the future undoubtedly

Not been over there myself yet but i have spoken with him on the phone a couple of times. Very polite and willing to have a no rushed chat . Just wish they were a bit nearer to me.

Having my 6 speed gearbox rebuilt by them at the moment. Chose them through a trustworthy recommendation. Seems an honest and upfront guy and will hopefully be doing more work through them in the future.

yip - not many parts men know their way around gearbox internals - rick does -i rebuilt a 5 speed and got all the bits from him - highly recommended - technically knowlegeable bloke - sent me the proper subaru drawings so i could order with correct parts numbers

Never used Len but I've heard lots of good things about him there was a guy on here who filmed his engine being built on here bamm havoc I think his name is

Just found this thread and thought I'd resurrect it, how was your engine build? And would anyone else recommend subaru4you?

My old car with forged rebuild from subaru4you is still going strong over 2 years later and 20k miles, I have a new impreza which I will only take to them, they really are one of the good specialists out there, never over sell and very honest, informative and fair, a great bunch.

I have never met Len
But have been around subarus since the last ice age.

He has been around for a long time. Longer than many subaru tuners.
So many of the older guys will have heard of him/Subaru4you and his good reputation.

I would not hesitate to take my car to him - a good rep

Yeah another top vote for S4U. Always take my car there whenever I'm home. Simon/JGM is often there on their rolling road too which is handy
