Has anyone bought a green WRX ?
#1
I saw one of those new bugeyes in green today. It was a 5 door which suits me. It would go with my green wellies when I'm plugging through the mud on my mate Teds farm in Wiltshire. I like my trusty Forester, but I wouldn't mind a GX, are they as fast as PopeyeP1's sport ?.....Bye...Blutes

Hi Bluto,
I travel quite a few miles for work and only seen one Green WRX - not far from Banbury on the M40. I (unlike the rest of the world) am okay with the new shape - but GREEN! It didn't work so an absolute no-no IMHO.

MATTeL it would appear would also be a user on the board! (Not the lower-case "e" to avoid any copyright/trademark issues)
Two pics of my car...
Dirty (just driven up a dirt track that was water logged) and a dull day so not showing it off the best...
People do like the colour but expect some jokes about it all the same (thanks ChrisB for the photo) from the Big One...
I would suggest colour is a personal choice... difference, does after all, make the world go around and at least I can find mine easily at meet (yes I know as long as I don't park near the bushes).

Mark - I guess you have seen two now!
Richard - Where are you based (but not the exact location... protecting scoobies)?
I have seen two other Green MY01/02 in the metal... one in a show room and the other in Dublin.

MATTel, your car looks an absolute peach young man. I like the new WRX, its like a fingernail, it grows on you. I am seriously considering trading my 1999 Forester S Turbo in for a 5 door WRX this summer. I'm off to the dealers this weekend when I go over to stay with Ted and his missus. I will definately be ordering green if I decide.....Blutes

mattstant - Yes the stickers! I go and do a good deed by directing the traffic (I was the idiot at the corner in the jacket, not the lunatic in the Ice Hockey shirt (Hi Vel)) wondered around the field looking at the cars come back and find my var being stickered up!
At least most people realised it was joke that had been played on me, unlike on couple that as I was about to put something in the car said "What a to$$er calling himself Subaru's Action Man".
Could you e-mail me picture? The address is in the profile.

*smirk* getting grief again Mark (aka MATTeL)?
To be honest, I didn't like the new green initially, but I like it quite a lot now... but then I now like wagons too.. so perhaps that don't mean anything!
