Question Blob eye petrol light

Simple question really do they have one? I've never seen mine and worried about running out when I'm not paying attention! It's 03 blob wrx, I ran it really low last week till the needle was on the red and still no light??

mine works fine, always comes on when low, normally a sign to visit a fuel station.

never let it run that low, regardless of the light working or not.
you don't want to clog up your fuel filter, or compromise the cooling of the fuel pump.

i prefer to run it low and completely burn away the old fuel or anything which is in the tank before topping a fuel tank of fresh fuel.

Completely understand where your coming from but just me who likes throttling when a couple oif litres are left in tank.

I've an 05 and mine comes on. As soon as I see it I set the trip on .. and look for petrol within 20 miles .. although I have got as far as 30 driving cautiously.
