Girls car vs mans car? Surely, my bro just got an 07 plate TT as above, and it's nice in black 19inch alloys etc.... But I'd still prefer a scoob, he's a jack the lad, and thinks the audi would get more looks than my scoob, sounds better ands quicker pmsl.....any thoughts?

Straight line he should smoke you depending on your spec and car
Round the twistes you should be leaving him ideally
Personally I think you will be quite shocked how well it goes

Plus had 155 top end, so although its a uk and been tuned, it does shift when needs be,

The TT will be only 197bhp or 200ps I believe. Not particularly quick as standard. My other car is a vRS with the newer Tsi engine. Same power out the factory but currently running Revo stage 2 and is ballistic. Still slower than my Hawk Sti though.

Quite a quick car a 2.0 TFSI TT but I would have thought on figures you were ahead power and weight wise.

Wouldn't have thought it would keep up with a 270 classic so long as it was a genuine 270bhp.

As for corners, don't underestimate a modern car with good tyres. The TT is a genuinely strong car to press hard. I would have thought a classic Impreza with modern tyres would again prevail though.

It's 270bhp on bc coilovers, eibach springs, strut braces front and rear, plus drop links, it handles as good as the evo 6 I once had, the TT is nice car but, can't see it beating the scoob, plus I'm 7 years more driving experience, like I say it's brotherly banter at the end of the day.....

ive personally dusted a 2012 tts in a straight line from the traffic lights in my 99 uk2000 at 276bhp and a close ratio vb box, 1st 2nd and 3rd then had to stop dam traffic lights, you should be able to beat your bro

Even if the TT is quicker than the Scoob it matters not one jot as no self-respecting male can be seen driving a TT.

It goes against all the unwritten laws of male etiquette, like not wearing flip-flop unless you’re within pissing distance of a swimming pool and not wearing pastel colours etc.
