SVM built- Forged 3.8 Long rod
Custom heads & cams

Turbo- Garrett GT3071R ball bearing Core Assembly with Phosphor Bronze Motorsport Bearing Carriers. GT30 Inconel – 84 Trim Larger Shaft Wheel. Billet Compressor Wheel – 73mm High Flow – Extended Tip

Marston Intercooler. 80mm ic pipes. 70mm Billet Throttle bodies

large k&n's with 80mm intakes

Fuel-

Walbro 485's
ID2000's
running e85

Gear box

Albins 1-6
svm/gtc carbon wide clutch kit billet baskets

From what i understand, even though SVM say they build the engines, they dont.

but either they are holding some spec back, or the GTR is just such a beast that with a few bolt on mods you can crack a 1000HP!!

iirc at brunters you have about 1.25 miles of usable runway, and about 0.25 to stop in.

there is very little run off at that end, and i have seen the odd car there, err, not stop lol

I was thinking it looked like it had plenty left given longer track and maybe gearing.

Its even more impressive then if it can reach that speed in just over a mile.
Watching top gear last week they had 2.5 miles and hit 190mph in the mclaren, Ferrari and audi r8.

Thanks for the tips on posting vids chaps

Juggers, at vmax he 'only' managed 228. the 237 was the week after

Matty, someone has worked it out and if you had a mclaren F1 doing 100mph and the GTR at standstill, and they both 'started' at the same point - the GTR would still get to 200mph first!

Agh right wondered why there were no motors there I assumed it was done after everyone went home.

Thats seriously impressive. The mclaren F1 does 100mph to 200mph in roughly 21secs.

Yeah, as you can see in the vid it does something like 70-170 in less than 10 seconds!

A gtr only needs about 630bhp to crack the double ton at brunters, so it just goes to show just how much extra power is needed for another 37mph!

Still mega cheap compared to the Veyron, although I know which one I would rather have if money was no object
