Default What's the problem?

Took the car out of the airchamber last night and noticed a puddle of brown colour water on the floor, any ideas to whats going on?

I thought that at first but it's defentley water to thin for oil.

Bone dry in there with the fans on, it's defentley leaking from the car moved it to another spot. I took the top of the header tank and water came out from there, it's never done that before.

Is the water in the header tank that colour?

How often do you drive your car? Where is the water leak in comparison to the position of the car? Front central?

is it def dirty water? or could it be power steering fluid or somethign like that?

my guess is a perished hose somewhere

Car was dry going in. It's defentley not moisture. It's like a slimy water, but not oil. Could it be head gasket?

got a catch can installed? maybe a silly question but it wouldn't be condensation from this pipe as if the tanks full?

I had a quick glance before I went to work will have a good look later. The leak is above the black plastic tray underneath.

i'd trace it back, i'd suspect it being a duff hose myself.

Yeah condensation.

If the A/C hadn't been used in ages then they condensation could be a bit dirty I reckon?

dirty rad/antifreeze water isn't it ? probably a perished hose as mentioned.

Defo sounds like rad water, the water evaporates off leaving the coolent/anti freeze which will feel slimy to touch.

Yeah I'm sure it's rad water, will get the undertray off the weekend and try and find the leak thanks for the advice!

Check the water feed for the modine, the metal pipe along the front of engine, quite common to rust thro into pin holes
