Default Hi new member

So my user name gives it away a bit lol, my name is Jamie and I'm from Essex, I'm 30 years old and been driving since I was 17. I've been with my fiancée for 13 years and we have a 10 year old daughter and a 1 year old son together.

My fiancée and daughter love cars as much as me and my daughter wants a Porsche Boxster in red as her 1st car and knowing my daughter she will probably get it.

So my job is a van driver and my passion is cars, football, golf, music and watching my daughter compete in dancing (street/hip-hop, freestyle, rock n roll and team).

I've always been into cars in a big way and my 1st car at 16 was a Ford Escort XR3i, and my 1st car i bot to use when i passed my test when i was 17 was my Dads Escort Cosworth Monte for a week, after a bet i win, and it went on from there lol:

Bl**dy Hell !.

32 cars in 13 years and you remember all of them.

I've had about 13 cars in over 32 years of driving (I think).

Welcome mate, hope you find it rewarding (the car and on here).

Welcome nice past car collection.
I would have thought something a bit more focused after seeing you're car list.

Hi.
Thanks for the nice welcome and replies guys. yeah quite a few cars there i do love cars, only a few left that i havent had to own that I really want.

To answer a few questions:
So I went for a UK300 because to be honest I don't normally like Bugs but I do love them with the triple headlight conversion and there's just something about the look of a UK300 that drew me to it, my intention was to get a Blob STi.
But after reading a few things here and there from what you want out of the car I decided maybe a Blob WRX would be better for me, as I only want it for a nice daily drive, which looks good and is fine standard power.

The problem was I was going to get the WRX Blob then get STi interior, Brembo brakes, new wheels, big spoiler, front lip, full system exhaust this I thought would be fun.....then I saw this Bug and I just thought wow got the interior I love, looks good and has adequate power from standard, so I will make a few choice mods but I won't have to go to far into it.
I need to keep some cash back as my fiancée wants a Audi 04 S4 Convertible.

The reason I didn't want a STI aswell is I would have tuned it and I'm kinda not ment to be going down that route anymore, just want a nice looking car that goes well and sounds good.

Will check out the Essex Subaru side if things as well, seems like a good forum unlike some others I have to be part of over the last 10 years!

Oh and Ahmed Bayjoo is still about according to a mate over of Passion Ford

There's one there anyway .

Looks nice.
I have to say the standard headlights on a bug don't do it for me. Those make yours more appealing I think.

What's the white patch - a reflection or a dreaded sticker ?

His car is a "UK300" bud, so "those" headlights are UK300 styling standard, aka Prodrive headlights. As for the white patch, if that's on the wings it'll be the "UK300" emblems to symbolise its a "UK300"

Hi Jamie and welcome aboard.

Ahmed Bayjoo now there's a blast from the past.
The guy was legendary amongst the Ford fraternity. The number of Cossies using his chips was countless.

Thanks guys, yeah the white stickers on wings and bootlid are the UK300 stickers
Yes Ahmed Bayjoo what a legend in the Ford group, my RS Cosworth had his ECU Chip and Cams, also he did the same to my RS Turbo escort, what I loved about him was he live mapped it in a private road.
