It's an evo!!! What engine has it got, please don't say 2.5
I'd prefer the Mazda 3 with the Hyundai grille

I did hear that but it won't be the 2014 model it will be he 2011-13 model with the MK2 2.0 F engine
It would be very lucky if the 2014 model would arrive till feb-march 2015
IMHO

With the terrible exchange rate it makes me wonder what kind of overpriced yet budget-stripped car we'll get.
Is this new engine a twin scroll with an 8000rpm redline?

?
For £35K a Non turbo. 15" wheels and the spotty car in the picture. Plus ten cans of gloss for self service colour.

I think it could be a winner with the new engine, the F series 2.0 found in the BRZ/GT86 is meant to turbocharge very well indeed. People in the states have said a VF43 or similar turbo can which would make say 360bhp on an EJ20 could make upwards of 410bhp on the newer F series engine with better spool everything else being equal mod wise.

Wouldn't want to Dishearten anyone But I doubt it very much that it will have 450bhp.
400bhp would be a nice figure to aim for without overstressing any std components.
On another note, I've been out in the new forester with the FA 2.0 DIT Engine. Now that is a very nice engine, 1.3bar boost pressure 8 Speed CVT box on S# mode, goes very well indeed for the size of car, suitably impressed
