Default Turbo Technics S206B and a Dump Valve question LOL

My car is currently fitted with a Well Lane Dump valve, which is fine I suppose . However I'm not a fan of them, well the aftermarket ones anyway, and I was wondering if anyone as used this turbo without a dump valve a all?

Now I'm fully aware of the additional stress on any turbo running without a valve, be it recirculating or VTA, so I don't need the technical advice, I'm just wondering whether this particular turbo would be strong enough to take the stall?

The cars running 2bar on a 2.1 Stroker.

Cool, I appreciate that . I'll knock up a blanking plate tomorrow!

Re spool, I can't really say as its not been on the rollers yet since the billet upgrade and 6 Speed box. I'm hoping to get on one next week so I'll report back

I'd say boost spools around 2'500 hitting full boost at just under 4'000, but I could be wrong as I drive cars to how I feel they should be driven not watching the rev counter

There's no graphs of the 452bhp non billet to my knowledge, but Ian put a few videos up on YouTube of his car before and after billeted

Non Billet

Billet

The reason for the billet upgrade hence my question about the strength of hem re the blanking off of the DV

If your going to run DV delete on the S206B then do it in style Rob

Nice, mine is just mapped for Vpower, so it wont be at 500.

Nice, but no time Ryan, as Ive only three weeks till I sprint it, and I have no intention of getting it mapped for tweaks before hand. Im happy with whatever power it is churning out without complications of meth too at this stage, although if I do reshell the car I have a few ideas Id like to try

What benifits does the TT uprated actuator offer? Is it a bolt on jobbie, or did you need to tweak/map for it?
