Default Need advice : Impreza WRX STI ver2 price

Hi,
I have a M3 that i have for sale, and I've been offered a nice white 1995 ver2 STI .
Its got a few mods like brembo brakes, 2001 sti alloys, tein coilovers adjusted for tarmac rally, grade 1 import, all japanese history, link G4 ecu (is this any good? ) ,80k miles , think its got some rally intake manifold (i dont have the full spec list, but it was quite big )
http://www.type-ra.com/subaru-forum/...e-scenary.html
there are some pictures on that forum ....

So my question is- what is it worth? I dont want a car that is imaginary value 5000£ but really worth 2500£ , i want it to to be worth something as I get bored quite quick and might want to sell it after a month or two (most of my cars last that long)

Thx for any advice!!
Cheers!

The value would be closer to £2500 than it would be to £5000, but really depends on the spec.
Which model M3 do you have ?

Nice car, seen it before a few times Somewhere :S this is similar http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Imp...item2a2e6f3c35 need a brake upgrade but as you can see its a fair bit cheaper you could get the mods done yourself if you really wanted them. Best to look about for prices

Im still having plenty of interest and there is no problems with the car...so im not really in a rush to get rid of it
If I reduce the price it would go in a day or two, and im sure people would struggle to find a saloon m3 in better condition for what im asking for it

Agreed, he drove the scooby from the south of england to scotland and then back again, it would need to be a descent car to do that journey tbh, id be swapping.

I had an e36 3.0 m3 and swapped it for my wagon wrx and tbh ive never regretted it, the m3's are rediculously expensive to repair when they go wrong and at your mileage its on the cards.

Any car would do the south of England to Scotland and back, my mate does it in his "old" mondeo twice a year!

Price for that Subaru will be around 2-2.5k, no more than that, definitely not worth 5k

Thx for advice guys, I wont do it.... I did loads of random trips in my M3 , covered over 3k miles in last 2 months- and its been faultless, oil is perfect, starts half a turn of the key .... 2.5k idd get anytime of the day.. no doubts... but im not selling it cheaper than 3.5 anyway (as its worth that, specially beeing a saloon)

lol yes but its all a myth about the boxsters bearing failure. the 2.5 strongest and yes the 996s had more probs with that dodgy engine. the power drops off so much when the vanos plays up its unreal. i was sure over 1 k for them to be sorted

http://www.mrvanos.com/E36-M3-Evo--Z...1848304%29.htm

when the car is working well the m3evo is great but i wouldent want the repair bills. boxster cheap to fix and run gs&f do loads of parts.

she is a nice car and getting very rare now as is the v2sti. for me i would sell bmw and use cash to buy a scooby or evo 4 with late spec engine if lucky
