After being away from scooby's for a while (vtec got me ) I've now decided I'm selling my integra type rx and getting another scoob.

Now I've done a quick search and can't find any info on the company "clive's performance" I was just wandering if anyone on here has brought a car from him or has any experience of his stock good or bad??

Lancashire is quite a drive away and don't fancy a wasted journey if the guy isn't the right person to be buying from.

I went to have a look at a '53' plate STi for sale.

Cars are kept at a warehouse in Accrington, must have been 80+ japanese performance cars !

Imprezas, Evos, Skylines, you name it.

Nice guy who runs it, from what I saw the quality of the stock varied from very good to average.

clive performece cars or who ever else he calls himself stay away he ripped me off big time 3,500.00 for a wrx full of rust underneath just scrap totaly gutted con artest

 

Sorry to hear about your probs but never heard a good word about they crooks, also still trying to sell a spec c for crazy money that had a hard hit from behind saying its never been in any accidents lol

They're al the same place. This alone should thoroughly put off potential buyers. However, a quick Google search soon brings up the horror stories from various car forums.

 

there is a facebook group dedicated to people that have been ripped off by these guys. i would avoid like the plague!
