I have an adaptor from eBay which fits bolts to the tmic but I thought after reading it needs to be angled or it hits the manifold?

Mines is flat and doesn't angle the bov away ill get a pic

Is yours angled at all?

Cheers the advert said it may need some filing but in guessing that's so I can get it rotated in the right position as the nuts on the bov hit the adaptor

Mine looks just like that one too... Takes a bit of fiddling to get it into a position where it will fit, but mine went on fine. Here's a pic of mine just after I got it in a position where it would fit... Mine's on a 2002 WRX wagon

Perfect just what I wanted to see, did you have to remove the intercooler and fit it first or while it was on

fitted it without removing anything... Just took a few attempts to get the angle right and just meant I had to use a spanner, rather than a socket, to tighten the nut on the right hand side

well mine didnt fit, if you look at donthaveascoobie's pic where the circlip fits his is raised, mine isnt

which means to get the ssqv sitting right the small bolts on the ssqv would hit the adaptor and make it sit squint meaning the circlip wont go on

i ended up grinding a channel out between the right hand side bolt and the center hole

very close to the manifold as well but fits now

so unless you fancy some grinding, id buy a one like the above picture and nopt a flat one like mine

you cant turn the valve vertically as it will hit the manifold then

and like the other guy said, fit the right hand side bolt into the adaptor before you clip the valve in as you cant get it in once the circlip is in
