Hi sarah,it depends on what you mean by better, but I have a NUR SPEC R without the centre resonator and I don't like it,its far too loud for my liking.
It gets very raspy at times, but on the plus side at full revs in a long tunnel its sounds somewhere between a well sorted motorbike and a ferrari

I have a blitz Nur spec on mine, it was a shock how loud it was at times. Mines fully decatted with no restriction. I run my as a Daily so currently have the blitz bung. Doesn't look as good fitted but it's about the right tone I was looking for. Mines really deep ans burbly.

Thanks blackvenom, mine is full decat too, but still wanted it louder! Ta Tubby. Stu, when I get chance to do it, I will let you know. Its the 3 inch to 2.5 inch pipe I have, not the full 3 inch if that helps x

Mine is full 3inch system but is mounted to a 3inch down pipe with a 2.5inch end,the flange is the same as the 3inch centre section and connects perfectly. But im not sure if yours will fit mine?
If your centre section starts at 2.5inch(at the down pipe end) and then goes to 3inch then all should fit fine.

Trust me.. A full decat with a Blitz Nur R system is too loud! Draws far too much unwanted attention.

Don't get me wrong it's a lovely tone but your neighbours will hate you, it's best to keep them happy, more eyes watching out for your car.

Yeah Stu, my centre section does part at 2.5 inch and then goes into 3 inch. I know what you mean about the neighbours, best to keep them smiling! I agree Stu, I will have to get a wig and sunglasses out so no-one can look and stare! Was also looking at going down the straight pipe route. . . . any suggestions guys x x

I have not used a Blitz nur spec R so cannot comment. But a couple of years ago I went from a APS 3 inch catted system to a APS 3,5 inch de-cat. Lovely noise, I almost took the radio out as wanted to listen to the car more than the radio.

Same as Tommy as I wanted a good noise and to be honest if I only used it as weekend fun car it would prob be ok, however I use it most days and on motorway the in cabin drone is too much after a short spell.

Car goes in tomorrow to get resonator as want a bit of peace lol.
