Default Can airbags be sent through the post

As above give is it legal to send a steering wheel through the post with an airbag. My dad thinks not, just wondered if any of you have in the past, cheers Steve.

Technically no as explosive but wont go off unless an electrical charge is put through it.

some couriers do have a license to deliver items like this,
royal mail wouldnt like it but it must be done all the time with steering wheels off ebay etc.

That's where I'm going to sell it fella but it would be just my luck for it to go off and kill a posty or burn down a distribution center

It's ok in uk just make sure packed very well in a bigger box, as said needs a elec charge to go off. Only if your sending abroad you'll get bum raped as it will go through X-ray.
