BlobEye Widetrack Rear Arches
Has anyone rolled or cut there rear arches on a Widetrack BlobEye?
I have got XXR527's and they are rubbing on my rear arches, was wondering what was involved or needed to be rolled/cut?
Is it worth getting camber bolts too?

I asked arch enemy and he said they cant do it, somebody else on here had the same issue with arch extensions, hence I didn't get any wide wheels as if it rubs you cant drive it.

Ive got XXR527's 18x8.75 ET35 with 225/40/18 Tyres.. the fronts are fine, but the rears are rubbing on bumps and corners
I do have BC coilovers.. Ive adjusted it to the hardest setting on the rear but still rubs, I guess I will have to lift the suspension higher but would have been better to cut away the lip due to current ride height is great atheistically.

Camber bolts needed bud, simple job
Rbnose has the exact same setup and we've added camber, he's running 245 iirc,
I've done the same 8.5 et30 rota grid with 235 profile, added more camber last weekend,
eBay seller for venom Motorsport sells the rears, there £20 ish and next day del.
Install them in the top bolt hole, lug facing away from the car

These are my findings on running 9.5" with 245/40/18 tyres.
With Coilovers and rear camber bolts, you need to raise the car without doubt.
Raised mine 20mm just about slide my hand under the arch, with -1deg camber, et38 offset.
This worked fine for 99% of the roads, but recently hit a big dip in the road at 60mph round a corner to add......this made the rears rub again.
Conclusion:-
I have now ground away the small inner arch, about 5mm's worth, its a pretty sharp looking piece, and the cause of all this rubbing issue.
So all im left with is the thickness of the extension, its all smooth under neath now.
NOTE...you must under-seal what you have cut/ground away to protect the bear metal.
If you have any questions just ask, its no trouble.

People fit 225's on 9.5" more offen, they say no arch rubbing.....whether thats true or what?
If yours is rubbing its either down to not enough camber or its too low.
Pretty hard to see with the wheel still on, maybe if you compare yours with this one you can see the material I have removed.
