Default Clicking noise

I have a clicking noise coming from my rear wheels or breaks and noise gets faster when I go faster ?????

Jack it up and turn the wheels by hand and see if you can detect the noise. If you can its probably a brake or bearing issue, if not its probably a tyre issue.

Going to have a look in the morning just had new discs and pads all round and when i break the pads make a clunking sound ? I've got a 260 mile drive to Aberdeen on Monday so I will have a good look and give yous a update

maybe anti rattle clips on pads missing/fitted wrong

or something in the tyre

when i got my car, there was a chattering that stopped when i pressed the brake peddle, one of the clips was missing and there was play/movement in the pad without it

when they are fitted, they push the pad forward, so when brakes are applied there is no movement. if they are fitted the wrong way around (pushing the pad backwards) there won't be any chatter, but when you press the brakes they will move forward and clunk

That sounds just like mine ! Do you have any idea how to tell if fitted wrong ? And thanks boozydave

These are the anti rattle clips, http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/vie...=111064372789#
The big spring clip hooks over the pin at the front, the flaps on the side push the pads forward and the pin slides over the rear part to hold it in place.

Cheers mate all done the clips was on the wrong way round lol
