Talk me into getting another Scooby
I used to frequent this place a lot when I had my '99 Turbo and after ten years since I sold her I'm in the market for a new Car (albeit not new this time round), but have my head set on a Focus ST-3 (2010)
Miss my MY99, which for me was the best shape and I thoroughly enjoyed driving it so I'm hoping someone can talk me into considering another Impreza Turbo.
I've £13k to spend so what's to love about the newer models?
Thanks

Book a test drive and find out mate. 13k could get you a lot of Scooby in this day and age.
But then again it all depends on what you want the car for to be honest.

I've had both but I'm back to subaru again. I had a classic then the st then a blob and now back to the old classic. The focus is good but I feel the impreza better where I am in jersey. It may be different on uk roads.

The thing is you know what scoobies are like, so why do you need talking in to buying one?
Personally I love the 4wd and having power with it is damn fine
Go out and test drive some other models. Look in any garages that have them for sale near you, take them for a spin, get a feel for how they handle. Drive another classic and see if it compares, but remember the cost of tax for the newer cars
Happy hunting

It looks a very nice car but it's throwing money away.
Around £2K more and you could grab a private sale RB320.
In 2 years probably at least 90% of your money would still be in the car's value. With this one I reckon you're almost 50% out of pocket straight away.
It's not as if it's a classic car such as a Lotus Europa, Mini Cooper etc. etc.
Although I agree with the others who've said 'take a test drive' that might be a bit difficult. I don't think many sellers would want their car taken to limits in order for a possible buyer to see what it can do.
