Default Hawkeye Roof Spoiler - Fakes....!

Are there any good aftermarket roof spoilers on the open/ebay market..

Its proving hard to get an oem spoiler...

Photos and links appreciated...

try a few breakers mate, im sure you probably have but it took me three months to get mine, the genuine ones are far better as they are three piece and metal so they dont droop like some aftermarket versions.

I picked mine up for £155 delivered, it was in brilliant condition and was made even better by Ryan (Prodriverules) repainting and fitting it for me.

There are bargains out there, it's just a matter of being lucky and finding them.

Cannon and tommy could you please measure the roof spoiler as I have an after market one on my 60 plate saloon and I'm not keen on the finish so was thinking if a earlier one from a hawk would fit then I might keep my eye out.

If you could get the Id so I can see if it is wide enough to span the glass on the newer saloons that would be a big help

Cheers

where do you want the measurements from, i'll do it in the morning but i have a feeling the new saloon is a fair bit wider.

the genuine one also sits on the contours of the pillar so i seriously doubt it would sit flush on anything else.
also if you look at the pictures above the spoiler is also curved to the exact shape of the car above the window

I used rivnuts.

this way all you need to do is drill two holes and insert the rivnuts with the tool then there is no need to remove any trim on the inside of the car.

I think this is how they are fitted in the factory too.

not sure this would hold on a genuine one as they are metal and not really very light like the one piece non oem ones.
